Principal's Bio

New Manchester Elementary is filled with Eagle Pride!  Our goal is to provide a positive learning atmosphere where children are the focus.  We encourage students to dream big. Working together we continue to rise to new heights in academic achievement and character development.  We are excited about all of the possibilities the 2017-2018 school year will bring.

Parent involvement is a key component to school success.  We have a wonderful PTA and School Council that support our students and staff in a collaborative effort for success.  If you would like to get involved and volunteer at New Manchester, we will work with you to find the right fit.

Attendance and punctuality are important factors in academic success.  Students begin morning procedures at 7:45 a.m. and are ready by 8:00 a.m. to start learning.  Please help your child with these important life skills so they can maximize their education.  The building is open at 7:15 a.m. and dismissal begins at 2:45 p.m. each day.  We have an After School Program (ASP) that provides a safe environment for after school care.  Homework assistance, snack, and other activities support students and provide a fun place to be after school.  There is a registration fee of $10.00 and an additional $8.00 each day your child attends the ASP program.  Students must be picked up by 6:00 p.m. in order to participate in the program.

There are many opportunities for student involvement at New Manchester.  We have a news crew that delivers the morning announcements and news via closed circuit T.V.  The WEGL News Team works together to provide a wonderful service for our school.  After school club opportunities are also available for students.  We have a Road Runner club, Chorus, DRUM, AV/Media, Chapter Book, Jr. Beta, and Math clubs that support the talents and interests of students.

I am proud to be the Principal at New Manchester Elementary, where our goal is student success!
